The only reason i went to study journalism is to live in the world of sports. During my teenage years, basketball was a important part of my life that helped me a lot in different areas. For this, the future work that i see for myself is one where i can practice journalism in that sport.
What would make me more excited is to work as a narrator or commentator of that sport, so i could make me known the knowledge i have and try to transmit my passion to the recceivers either on radio or TV.
This pleasure to be a commentator was born when i was a child and played football games in the play station 2. I always recounted my games, but at that time i only did it for fun. When i had to choose a career for college, the idea of doing that job in my future appeared in my head.
In Chile, covering basketball in journalism isn´t very productive, as the national league isn´t very important at the continental level. It could be considered amateur. To be able to work on what i want, the maximum goal is to reach ESPN and comment on the NBA. They have transmission in spanish for Latin America, because i doubt i have a level of english so advanced that i comment on that language. Basically, i should travel and change my country in a definite way.
Regarding salary, i am not very ambitious. As long i can earn enough to keep a family and at the same time have fun while i work, it is enough for me.
ResponderEliminarin the future we could be co-workers then jajaja
